[ What Ghosts? ]

Ghost, n. The spirit of a dead person, especially one believed to appear in bodily likeness to living persons or to haunt former habitats.

Do you believe in Ghosts?
That the dead who have experienced something horrible before their death will become trapped in the living realm and occassionally be seen by the living?

When a person dies, unless you are one of those stupid skeptics, if you are then you can just fuck off, their spirit, soul or whatever is released from their physical form and goes somewhere else. (Heaven, hell, anywhere, don't care.) Sometimes however, their death or mental state can be so out of tuned at the time of death, their spirit does not leave the place of their death.

"Within the dimensions of the Unseen World there exist some entities that are bewildered, uncertain as to what occurred to them when death came. Others are still attached to people or places in our dimension of reality, and they wish to return to our material existence.
Those entities in the darkest regions of what some may term the Shadow World are often filled with anger at finding themselves in a bleak and hostile domain of their own making. They try in every way to affect and to influence the minds and lives of all those living persons who will receive them. They wish to possess the living so that they might escape the hell of their own creation. It is such entities as these who are referred to as "demons."

Ask your friends, see how many people have seemed to come in contact with a ghost in a house they may have stayed in.

One of mine in particular, while reading a book late at night encountered a situation. Regularly, they heard noises from their staircase. These were dismissed as the taps, whatever. One day, she heard the sounds again, patter patter patter. Then, there was a knocking at her door. Naturally, you don't actually go and see who's there, you're parents don't knock without calling out the reason. Moments later, her father comes into her doorway and asks her "Where did the little girl go?"

As it turns out, there was a little child who was strangled in the house. Needless to say they no longer live there.

For alot of people, they will encouter a ghost at one point in their life. This encounter may be trivial, and often dismissed later.

Considering how ghosts appear (the result of what I like to term, a grizzly death) it is suprising that ghosts are disbelieved in.

It has come to contemplation, if ghosts appear as a result of an event, how long do they stay and "haunt" the location of their death? A few years? Think of prisons and the electricchair death, that's pretty dramatic event which the ghosts may return to. How long do they stay there before they come to rest?

Something to think about. If you believe in God, then why not believe that ghosts can exist?
